Podcast Production Meets Project Management Magic

Helping creative teams turn “we should start a podcast” into a real audience.

Creative Strategy • Project Management • Content Production

When the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver wanted to connect with new audiences beyond its gallery walls, we turned to a medium built for storytelling: podcasting. How Art is Born launched as a 10-episode series featuring Denver creatives—from chefs to comedians to musicians—sharing what it really takes to build a creative career.

Building the systems behind a smooth podcast launch

I led the production and marketing for the first season, shaping the foundation for what became a three-season series. That included scheduling and recording interviews, editing each episode, creating all artwork and promotional materials, designing a shareable marketing toolkit for guests, and co-planning a live launch party and subscriber raffle.

The results:

All first-season episodes surpassed industry benchmarks (top 25% of podcasts receive 72+ downloads in their first month). By episode nine, the show had earned over 1,600 downloads from 1,000+ unique listeners, setting the stage for future seasons.

This project combined everything I love—creative collaboration, strong systems, and storytelling that connects. It’s the kind of work I help small teams and artists bring to life every day.
